I’ve emptied way more products that the ones shown on the picture, but I had to make a selection otherwise this post would have been 4000 words. So, let’s get this empties post cracking.
Erborian Bamboo Shot Mask
As you can see in the picture, I have used my fair share of sheet masks this month. The masks from Korean brand Masque Bar weren’t too bad, but the one that really stuck out was the Bamboo Shot Mask from fellow Korean brand Erborian. The mask left my skin moisturised, plumped, refreshed and not sticky at all (which tends to happen with a lot of sheet masks, in my opinion).
I have been hesitant to purchase Erborian products because I find them to be on the pricey side, but this sheet mask definitely makes me want to give the brand a try.
The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel
This was gifted to me and I used it because I’m a polite kind of person, you know. It smells good (although I’m not a big fan of fruity scents — or fruit, for that matter), it cleanses and it lathers. Nothing out of this world.
Gotta give credit to The Body Shop for the effort they put into making quality products (cruelty free, fair trade, etc.)
Repurchase? Not necessarily that scent.
Rogé Cavaillès velvety shower oil
Now, we’re talking. The smell of this shower oil is heavenly sweet (argan oil and almond). Being an oil, it doesn’t lather as quickly as regular shower gels, but when it does, it really moisturises your skin as it cleanses it. The smells lingers on your skin and that’s wonderful.
Repurchase? This isn’t my first bottle, so yes!
Avene Redness Relief Dermo Cleansing Milk
I wrote about this cleansing milk in my skin care routine for redness relief post. I haven’t changed my mind about this product since last month: it’s fine, it doesn’t damage the skin, it cleanses without causing any irritation, but it doesn’t reduce redness as far as I’ve observed. The big pro of the Avene cleansing milk is its price: around €15 for 300ml.
Repurchase? It’s really good value, so I might.
Glow Tonic by Pixi
This glycolic acid has been the highlight of my skin care routine these past couple of months. It took a few weeks for me to see actual results but I understand now all the fuss about the Glow Tonic. It has made my skin more radiant and my tone more even. It’s really gentle and doesn’t tingle. I used it twice a day on sensitive rosacea-prone skin, yet I never got any flare-ups because of it.
I’ve recently bought The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid and I kind of regret not repurchasing the Glow Tonic instead.
