With back to school being around the corner, teachers need to get their minds off the stress ahead. Drooling over makeup I want to buy or compulsively buying said makeup is one of the ways I relax. Ok, more seriously, it’s the only way I relax. Let’s see how much of my next salary is going to be squandered on these new makeup releases for fall 2018.
Not only are they coming out with a Supersize version (13g for £7/€7.99/$10) of their well-known and loved (not by me) Conceal and Define concealer, but they’re also extending the range by releasing a Conceal and Define FOUNDATION. The new foundation is scheduled to be released on September 5th and will have a range of 24 shades. It is claimed to be buildable, full coverage, blendable, ageless, unisex. Cost: £9/€9.99/$12.
(Edit: since writing this post, I’ve ordered and tested the foundation, you can find the review here)
Did you know that I have a mailing list? Not the annoying kind, though! I just send an email once a month to share news, posts, etc. It’s free, you know. And my emails are really funny, too. There’s a subscription form just here on the right hand side of the page –>
I’m thinking of picking up the foundation because I can’t help myself but try Makeup Revolution (Revolution Beauty, Revolution Makeup, whatever they’re called) products.
M.A.C. Cosmetics holidays collection
There hasn’t been an official release date yet, but MAC Cosmetics will soon be releasing their holidays 2018 collection (called Shiny Pretty Things). It will include 2 Mineralize Skinfinish powders, 5 lipsticks, 5 lipglasses, 5 single eyeshadows and 4 Dazzleliners. Expect a lot of shimmer and glitter.
Will you be getting any of these products?
Urban Decay Elements Eyeshadow Palette
On September 10, Urban Decay Cosmetics will be releasing the Elements eyeshadow palette combining “18 never-before-seen shades from bright mattes to holographic shimmers all orbiting Luna, an ultra-iridescent transformer shade.”
This looks like the perfect Christmas present. I’m not sure how much it’s going to retail for, but for some odd reason I don’t find this palette nearly as exciting as the next one…
Urban Decay Naked Palette Cherry
Speaking of makeup releases for fall 2018… *this* is exactly what I love to buy at this time of year. I feel this palette would be a pleasant change from the usual autumnal warm/orange tones. There isn’t much information about the release date or price point, but people seem understandably uberexcited about the Cherry palette. I know I am.
I’m thinking of picking up the Makeup Revoluton Conceal and Define foundation and the Urban Decay Cherry Palette. I *might* indulge in one or two MAC products (per usual).
Will you be buying any one of these makeup releases for fall 2018?
