I think it is socially acceptable now to get excited about the holidays, Christmas food and watching Home Alone for the 138th time. Advent calendars are definitely one of my favourite forms of pre-holidays excitement and I’ve been prowling on the internet for the past few weeks to find the best beauty Advent calendars for 2018. Here are *some* of the calendars I’m excited for.
The Rituals Advent Calendar comes in two forms: 2D Exclusive or 3D Deluxe. Last year, I talked my boyfriend into buying me the 2D Exclusive and I really enjoyed the products in there. Apart from the 4 candles, none of the products are cheap or sample size. The Ritual advent calendars are already available at the time of writing this post (early September)
Did you know that I have a mailing list? Not the annoying kind, though! I just send an email once a month to share news, posts, etc. It’s free, you know. And my emails are really funny, too. There’s a subscription form just here on the right hand side of the page –>
I know I won’t be able to afford this one, but of all the beauty Advent calendars for 2018 this is the one that I would get if I was rich. Hell, I’d probably buy two so I’d get 24 products. The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Beauty Universe Calendar will retail for £150 and will be available at Selfridges from September 11 2018.
I’m a bit of a sucker for neatly arranged advent calendars and there’s something about the Lookfantastic one that really draws me in. Also, I think their subscription box is one of the best out there and I’ve been debating ditching Birchbox for the Lookfantastic box. By the way, leave a comment if you think I should(n’t) try it.
The Lookfantastic Advent calendar will be released on October 1st but can already be pre-ordered on their website. Price: £79.
Speaking of the devil… The Birchbox Advent calendar will be £65 and filled with 24 beauty treats, worth over £170, from brands like Benefit, Sand & Sky and Lumene. Subscribers will be able to order it as of October 3nd (before it’s launched to anyone else) from the Birchbox website.
This one is a little bit on the pricey side as well, but what am I to do? I really like the brand and I’ve always mentioned their products before. I’d love to try out more of them, and I believe an Advent calendar is the perfect way to do that. This one will be available on October 1st and will retail for £100 at Selfridges.
There are many more but I’m already feeling broke just looking at these.
Will you be buying any of these Beauty Advent Calendars for 2018? Which one(s?) Are there others you’d recommend that I didn’t mention? Sound off below.
