As you may or may not know (or care), I suffer from rosacea, which I’ve managed to tame thanks to a plethora of skin care products, but I’m always on the lookout for things to add to my anti-redness collection. I even posted a redness relief routine a few months ago, which, admittedly, is in dire need of an update. The REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk seemed like the perfect addition to my gentle / rosacea damage control routine.
Price point, quantity and a bit of brand info
Price: £19 ($30). It’s easy to find anywhere online but I got mine from Cult Beauty.

- reduce damage from pollution
How to use it
Use damp hands to massage into your face and neck, then rinse with warm water and gently pat dry.
What I think of REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk
I’m not sure it has helped reduce my redness but it certainly hasn’t made it worse.
It’s an extremely gentle cleanser and I absolutely recommend it for (very) sensitive skins. I cannot imagine any type of skin getting irritated by this product.
Side note for makeup wearers: the REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk will not remove makeup. It’s a great second step in a double cleanse, but it’s pretty useless makeup wise (and that’s not what it’s marketed as, anyway).
The pump system is brillant because one pump gives you the exact amount of product you will need for a cleanse and the bottle will consequently last you quite a while. Also, the pump makes what’s left of the product go up, so it’s easy to see when you’ll be running out of it.
I still think the REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk is on the expensive side, but I guess that’s the price you have to pay for clean ingredients and a great company philosophy.
